Needles..Needles...Needles...Needles..Needles...

There are many different kinds of needles for cross stitch. We would suggest that you use a needle that does not stretch the hole too much. Tapestry needles are blunt.....except when you stick one into you...they seem plenty sharp then.
The 2 most popular brands are our shop are the Bohen and the Piecemaker needles. Other brands like John James are good too. For a 14 count, I would suggest a # 24. For smaller counts, I would use a #26 or a #28. I use a #22 if I am working on an afghan.
